Equine WellBeing Rescue is a nonprofit horse and donkey rescue that is 100% volunteer run and managed. There is no paid staff or employees. Community members donate their time to provide the feeding and care of over 24 horses and donkeys that live at the rescue. That means that your donated dollars go to the animals feed and care, and not to any salaries.

This year we are raising funds to cover our winter hay and feed bill. Enough hay to last till first cutting next spring and when it is safe for semi trucks to drive up the mountain with large loads of hay costs over $24,000 and will last us 5 months. Our feed bill for our older equines that cannot get enough nutrition from hay alone is another $2200, not including any of the joint and other health care supplements. Our Goal is to raise $26,200 to cover the winter hay and feed, to keep them warm, happy and healthy.

3 generous donors have committed to help us raise these much needed funds by offering matching dollars.
